Artists Celebrate Human Rights Day in Stockholm The Sweden branch of Youth for Human Rights International (YHRI-S) presents an opportunity to celebrate the 60th anniversary of universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The event will include speeches from the youth, ambassadors and renown human rights activists from different parts of the world. The audience will as well be entertained by a colorful concert of classical, pop and world music, dance from Africa, Asia, America and Europe.
In the artist line-up, different ages, races, music styles and most of the continents are represented.
The concert will be opened by viola/piano duo Ineta & Milda Zigure. Students of Östermalm Private Music School, under the guidance of Mrs Sonoko Kase will perform piano and ballet pieces, Japanese children songs. The youngest one of them is 7 years old. Venezuelan born soprano Gabriela Gonzáles-Toledo is also an active lecturer in Latin American music and culture. Hungarian folk singer Andrea Gerak and Swedish singer-songwriter Mimmi Siegel will heat up for Swedish rock singer Lizette& and Nsako Afrodans, a group performing tribal music and dance from Uganda.
