Wanted to let you all know that Danny performed at the Tribute to
Wayne Harada (Star Bulletin talent article writer)

What a tribute it was! A lot of big name entertainers - a lot that
I've heard and known of for years, but never got a chance to see
perform. one big blast. Featuring Danny Couch, Al Waterson, Jimmy
Borges, Jake Shimabukuro, Honolulu Boy Choir, Honolulu Theater for
Youth, Tony Young, Frank DeLima, Karen Keawehawaii and Cha Thompson,
Army Community Theater, Rolando Sanchez, Jordan Segundo, Jeff
Rasmussen, Danny Kaleikini, Amy Hanaiali'i, Afatia, Joe and Shirley
Recca, Melveen Leed, Carole Kai, Kevin I, Taimane Gardner, Fabulous
Krush, Cathy Foy, Shari Lynn, Diamond Head Theater, Marlene Sai, Ken
Makuakane, The Brothers Cazimero, Kanoe Miller, Augie Rey, Jim Nabors,
The Society of Seven Las Vegas
Over 3 and a 1/2 hours of non-stop entertainment was had by a sold out
audience. And they all volunteered their time for this Tribute to
Wayne Harada. And to top it off, all the funds will benefit Helping
Hands Hawaii and The Honolulu Advertiser Christmas Fund, including the
generous gifts of $5,000 going to each fund from the Great Aloha Run.
It was definitely a win-win situa
tion all around.
But most of all, it was one heck of a retirement party for Wayne
Harada. There includes a nice photo of Danny onstage. ~ Enjoy
