Ingo Rademacher was born in the small village of Iserlohn-Letmathe, West Germany on April 22, 1971. Ingo was a West German ski champion at the age of eight.
The fact that he was born on Earth Day was not lost on Ingo. He is a staunch supporter of Greenpeace, and encourages his fans to join the organization. He also advertises his support by having his favorite racing kayak painted in the Greenpeace colors.
