PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. -- Tiger Woods will need another fantastic finish to defend his AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am title. This time, he'll have to overtake thoroughbreds.
Instead of chasing rookie Matt Gogel, Woods must make up six shots on co-leaders Phil Mickelson and Olin Browne. Also in his path are Masters champ Vijay Singh, Mike Weir and Brad Faxon. Barring wind, which has been practically non-existent all week, Woods might need to go lower than his final-round 64 last year to challenge.
"I got a shot at it," he said.
