Van Buren joins stars of stage & screen. 15-May-2004 THE Liz Dawn Star Spectacular – a bonanza for Coronation Street fans – is preparing to take another star-spangled Leeds curtain call.
For the fifth year, Liz Dawn is presenting the show at the Grand Theatre in Leeds, and Sunday May 23, will be a special night for lucky fans with tickets, who will will be treated to music, song, dance and comedy by many of their TV soap favourites.

Van Buren - Lilly Savage - Coronation Street 27-Apr-2004 For the third year running Andrew Van Buren & his company appeared alongside the BAFTA winning cast of Coronation Street in a grand variety show for the Variety Club of Great Britain. The big question was after last years success of making comedy star Peter Kay magically appear who would Van Buren make appear this year. The rumours were Paul O Grady (Lilly Savage) who made a guest appearance in the show, however William Roache (Ken Barlow) magically materialised on stage to a great audience reaction.

Van Buren celebrity Illusions 13-Mar-2004 It's the first time the cast has played the Opera House. The last show, organised by former Street star Roy Hudd (Archie Shuttleworth) at Stockport Plaza, saw illusionist Andrew Van Buren produce Bolton's comedy hero Peter Kay from an empty cabinet.
And, with Andrew on the bill again, we are curious to see which special guest will come out of the box this time.
Producer, Peter Shaw, says: "One of the joys of this show is that the audience doesn't know who will appear next or what they will do."

Magic of Cruise Ships & Cars. 6-Feb-2004 Illusionist Andrew Van Buren & his team have just returned from successfully performing their full scale illusion spectacular on board the luxury cruise liner Aurora during it's World Cruise.
Leaving the Illusion show on board the Van Buren company flew back from San Francisco USA in time to work their second show unit here in the UK - promoting the launch of the brand new Honda Civic car. This was an appearance that left the audience spell bound & caused great discussion.

Peter Kay - Van Buren - Coronation Street. 25-Nov-2003 Illusionist Andrew Van Buren Made top comedian Peter Kay magically appear in Coronation Street. For the second year running Van Buren & his company joined the Cast Stars of top television soap "Coronation Street" in another hugely successful grand gala at Stockport Plaza theatre. Amongst many illusions "Coronation Street" Star Julia Haworth floated in mid air before the capacity audience, but the real shock came when Van Buren made Cult tv comedy "Phoenix Nights" star Peter Kay appeared as if by magic, centre stage, complete with his cup of tea!
